Local time on June 25, 2026, Fu Chujian, Chairman of WINNINGSTAR Group, traveled to The Gambia in West Africa to officially attend the national public welfare initiative themed BUILDING BETTER FUTURES TOGETHER. Hosted by the MAA FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN and co-organized by WINNINGSTAR Group and SA SOMBILLY, the event centers on the core demands of social and livelihood development in The Gambia, with key objectives of empowering women, consolidating family foundations and revitalizing grassroots communities. It stands as a key national initiative for livelihood improvement and gender equality advancement in The Gambia, as well as an iconic practice through which WINNINGSTAR Group earnestly implements Belt and Road Initiative international cooperation, expands public welfare undertakings for people’s wellbeing across West Africa, and demonstrates the social responsibility and compassionate commitment of a Chinese enterprise.

Material Donations
As a core co-organizer of the event, WINNINGSTAR Group responded directly to the practical living needs of grassroots women and vulnerable families in The Gambia by donating livelihood necessities . The donated supplies fall into four major categories:daily living essentials, supporting materials for women’s entrepreneurship, public amenities for community convenience, and maternal and child health protection supplies. These materials will be distributed precisely to female entrepreneurs in rural Gambian communities, single-parent households and low-income women groups. They will effectively ease the local shortage of supplies for women’s production and daily life, and provide fundamental hardware support for women to achieve independent employment and steady household income growth.
Mr. Fu Stated
Material assistance goes beyond meeting basic survival needs and focuses on long-term empowerment by teaching beneficiaries self-sustaining skills. Chairman Fu Chujian stated in his speech at the event:“Women are the backbone of families and a pivotal driving force for community development. Supporting women in The Gambia safeguards the stability of countless households and fosters internal momentum for the sustainable development of local communities. WINNINGSTAR stands ready to deliver tangible material aid to light up a glimmer of hope for vulnerable groups.”
Deepen
Government Enterprise Collaboration

1.Government Enterprise Collaboration
This national initiative constitutes a vital measure for The Gambia to advance gender equality, narrow urban-rural development gaps and revitalize grassroots community vitality. For a long time, rural women in The Gambia have been trapped by developmental constraints including insufficient entrepreneurial resources, inadequate skills training and limited market access, which hinder household income growth and overall community advancement. Partnering with event host MAA FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN and collaborator SA SOMBILLY, WINNINGSTAR has built a tripartite support mechanism integrating enterprises, government and social organizations. Leveraging the public welfare platform, the Group has rolled out free vocational skills lectures and supporting charity services, combining material donations with capacity building. This shift empowers local women to move from passive recipients of aid to self-reliant income earners, ultimately helping them achieve capacity improvement, financial independence and self-value realization.
2.Press Conference Venue
At the event, Gambian women representatives, community leaders and officials from the charitable foundation spoke highly of WINNINGSTAR’s charitable contributions. They acknowledged that the group has integrated its strength as a multinational enterprise into local social development, aligned its practical actions with The Gambia’s national livelihood development agenda, injected positive momentum from foreign-funded enterprises into the cause of protecting women’s rights and interests across West Africa, and embodied tangible achievements in joint livelihood development under China-Africa friendly cooperation.

4Integrate into the Belt and Road
Relying on the foundation of friendly economic and trade cooperation between China and Gambia, we will promote the establishment of advantageous industries such as new energy, new materials, and smart home in Gambia, empowering local industrialization and urbanization through economic and trade cooperation, and building a bidirectional virtuous cycle of "economic and trade cooperation nurturing public welfare, and public welfare reputation empowering economy and trade".

Corporate Responsibility
BETTER FUTURE
From deep engagement in domestic public welfare initiatives to far-reaching cross-border charitable endeavors along the Belt and Road Initiative, WINNINGSTAR Group has consistently integrated corporate social responsibility into its global development strategy. This charitable mission to The Gambia transcends superficial one-off material donations. It embodies the pragmatic commitment and humanitarian goodwill of Chinese enterprises within the broader framework of women’s empowerment, household revitalization and community development in developing nations. By addressing grassroots livelihood needs at the micro level to align with global goals for gender equality and sustainable development, WINNINGSTAR vividly interprets the mutually beneficial cooperation between China and foreign countries under the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Going forward, WINNINGSTAR Group will continue to take industries as the bridge and public welfare as the bond to further expand its cooperation footprint across West Africa. It will make concerted efforts in multiple dimensions including trade connectivity, livelihood support, talent training and community development. Driven by the dual engines of sound business operation and compassionate charity initiatives, the Group will write a new chapter for Chinese private enterprises pursuing ethical overseas development and win-win cooperation, and keep contributing WINNINGSTAR’s strength to China-Africa friendly economic and trade ties as well as cultural exchanges.
